Day 1 : Arrival in Delhi

Upon arrival at Delhi airport, you will be met by a local correspondent and taken to your hotel.

Day 2: Agra and its palaces

After breakfast, you drive to Agra where you discover the Red Fort and its impressive 2500 meter wall surrounding fabulous palaces. You end your day by visiting the mausoleum of Itimah-ud-Daulah, nicknamed the Baby Taj, and enjoy the light at the end of the day.

Day 3: From the Taj Mahal to the pink city

At sunrise, discover the fabulous Taj Mahal, before heading to Jaipur. On your way, the ghost town of Fatehpur Sikri is a must-see stopover, with its large Jama Mesjid mosque, the tomb of Salim Christi, the Pench Mahal Palace and other palaces. Continue towards Jaipur, nicknamed 'the pink city'. Walking tour of the lively alleys of the old town and its bazaars.

Days 4 : Amber Fort and Jaipur Palace

After your breakfast, you head for Amber and enjoy a ride to the elephant fort. This makes the visit of this magnificent medieval vestige even more exciting. You walk along the fortification that extends over the hills. Back in Jaipur, you visit the city, painted pink in the 19th century on the occasion of the visit of a high British dignitary. You can visit the City Palace, the Hawa Mahal or Palace of Winds, the Astronomical Observatory, fantastic for young astronomy enthusiasts.

Days 5: Safari in the Ranthambore Reserve

This morning, you go to Ranthambore National Park where you can observe virgin forests, lakes and wildlife. Rendez-vous in Sawai Madhopur for a first 4x4 jeep safari on the hunting ground of the Maharajas of Jaipur. Perhaps you will have the chance to meet a tiger...

Day 6: Monday, off the beaten track

In the early morning, you do another safari in the jungle. Take this last opportunity to observe the wildlife of this region. Then, you take the road towards the unusual city of Bundi. On arrival, you will visit the fort of Taragarh and discover this city, its many markets, its suspended palace housing magnificent frescos and its sacred temples. Formerly called 'city of springs' because of its many basins and wells, the most beautiful of which is the Rani ki Baori.

Days 7: Heading for the white city

Free meals and overnight in Udaipur.
After a breakfast at the hotel and a last walk in the city, you take the road to one of the most romantic stops on this tour: the city of Udaipur. On the way, you stop at Chittorgarh, the former capital of the kingdom of Mewar, for a visit to its huge fortress overlooking the plain. You arrive in Udaipur in the late afternoon and enjoy the enchanting setting of the city to relax.

Day 8: Udaipur, the Venice of the East

Here, everything breathes romanticism, from refined palaces to boats on the lake. The city invites you to stroll through its tangled streets or on board a boat on Lake Pichola. Wonder guaranteed by visiting the City Palace, a majestic marble and granite fortress and former residence of the Maharanas of Menwar. You can also stroll through the Sahelion-ki-bari Garden, famous for its lotus ponds, flower beds and added style pavilions.

Day 9: Discovery of Jainism in Ranakpur

Free meals and overnight in Narlai.
After breakfast, you head for Narlai. On the way, stop at the magnificent Jain temple of Ranakpur. Once in Narlai, you can meet the inhabitants of the village.

Day 10: At the gates of the Thar desert

Dinner and overnight in the Thar Desert.
This morning, before leaving Narlai, you walk through the village, with its narrow streets of beaten earth and its whitewashed houses. Enjoy a walk to the top of the rocky plateau that dominates the village, from where the view of the semi-desert plain of the Marwar and the Aravellis Mountains is splendid. Continue your journey to the Thar Desert to reach your lodge in the middle of the dunes.

Day 11: Strolling through the blue city

This morning, before heading back on the road, you enjoy a short camel ride that will delight the whole family. You take the road again through the Aravalli hills, towards Jodhpur. Once in the blue city, you will explore the old city starting with the Clock Tower and the Sardar Market.

Day 12: On the ramparts of Mehrangarh

In the morning, you visit the imposing Mehrangarh fort, former residence of the Maharajahs of Marwar overlooking the landscape from miles around. It houses sumptuous palaces decorated with mural frescoes and stone lace as well as a Hindu temple. This afternoon, you will visit the Jaswant Thada Mausoleum, a memorial to the dead maharajas.

Day 13: The Brahma Temple of Pushkar

Free meals and overnight in Pushkar.
After breakfast, you head towards the spiritual city of Pushkar, built around the sacred lake of the same name. A major pilgrimage site for Hindus, this city is considered one of the oldest in India. Stroll between hippie shops, ghats where pilgrims perform their rites and temples with breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside, not to mention the city's exceptional Brahmin temple.

Day 14 : Return to Delhi

Free meals and overnight in Delhi.
In the morning, after breakfast, you can enjoy the pool and games at your resort before being transferred to the railway station to take an express train to Delhi.

Day 15 : End of your journey add-on

According to your flight schedule, a transfer to the airport awaits you. Have a safe trip back!
