This tour links Rajasthan’s must-see sites in 9 days so you can discover the best of Rajput’s heritage, refined and spectacular. In a private vehicle, travel the roads from Delhi to Udaipur, through the Taj Mahal and the great cities of Jaipury Jodhpur. You will enjoy the life of the castle by staying in old palaces converted into hotels. This trip, worth a Thousand and One Nights, is ideal from November to March.

Day 1 : Arrival in Delhi

Free meals and overnight in Delhi.
You are welcomed upon arrival at Delhi Airport by a local correspondent. A transfer awaits you to take you to your hotel.

Day 2: On the way to Agra

Total journey: 4h.

After breakfast, you go to Agra. Discover the Red Fort and its impressive 2500-metre wall surrounding fabulous palaces. You end your day by visiting the Mausoleum of Itimah-ud-Daulah, nicknamed the Baby Taj, enjoying the last lights of the day.

Day 3: From the Taj Mahal to the pink city

Go admire the fabulous Taj Mahal at sunrise. Then take the direction of Jaipur. On your way, the ghost town of Fatehpur Sikri awaits you, with its great Jama Mesjid mosque, the tomb of Salim Christi, the Pench Mahal Palace and other palaces. When you arrive in Jaipur, nicknamed 'the pink city', you visit the old city and its bazaars on foot.

Day 4 : Medieval fort and grand palaces

Total trip: 1h30.

After your breakfast, you head for Amber and ride up to Amber fort on elephant back. You walk along the fortification that extends over the hills.<br /> Back in Jaipur, you visit the city, painted pink in the 19th century on the occasion of the visit of a high British dignitary. Possibility to visit the City Palace, the Hawa Mahal or Palace of Winds, the Astronomical Observatory, fantastic for astronomy enthusiasts.

Day 5 : Strolling around the blue city

Total journey: 8am.
Free lunch and overnight in Jodhpur.
In the morning, you leave Jaipur for Jodhpur. Upon arrival, you will visit the old town starting with the Clock Tower and the Sardar Market. Finally, you end your day with a walk in the bazaars and winding alleys of the 'blue city'.

Day 6 : The impressive Mehrangarh fort

Total journey: 4h.
Free lunch and overnight in Narlai.
In the morning, you visit the imposing Mehrangarh fort, perched on its eagle nest, which contains the splendid palace of Umaid Bhawan. In the afternoon, departure through the magical landscapes of the Aravalli mountain range towards the small isolated village of Narlai.

Day 7 : Discovering Jainism in Ranakpur

Total journey: 4 hours.
Free meals and overnight in Udaipur.
After breakfast, you go to Udaipur. On the way, stop at Ranakpur to visit its magnificent Jain temple. Continue your journey up to the white city. When you arrive in Udaipur, walk around the shopping streets of the old town as you wish.

Day 8: Udaipur, the Venice of the East

Free meals and overnight in Udaipur.
Here, everything breathes romanticism, from refined palaces to boats on the lake. The city invites you to stroll through its busy streets, or aboard a boat on Lake Pichola. Don't miss the visit of the City Palace, a majestic marble and granite fortress and former residence of the Maharanas of Menwar. You can also stroll through the Sahelion-ki-bari Garden, famous for its lotus ponds, flower beds and added style pavilions.

Day 9: End of stay

After your breakfast, transfer to Udaipur airport to take a domestic flight to Delhi where you connect with your international flight. Have a safe trip back!
